Rainbows are made when it rains while the sun is still out. The sunlight reflects off the raindrops which breaks the light into different beautiful colours.
How is the Sunlight Reflected?
The light is reflected when it passes through a raindrop. Because the raindrop is round the light is bent. It is when this light is bent from one raindrop and then another that the colours start to appear and we then get our rainbow.
It is a fact that the rainbow you see is yours only because no two people can see the same rainbow, this is what makes it special.
And all our children are special too.
